sorry to crash the thread but when i run Code: | dmesg | grep socket | i get this Code: | Initializing RT netlink socket
NET4: Unix domain sockets 1.0/SMP for Linux NET4.0.
ds: no socket drivers loaded!
| the ds: no socket drivers loaded! also shows up at boot...what driver is it talking about? |

That happens if you enable PCMCIA support on a machine with no PCMCIA bridge. The message you see comes from drivers/pcmcia/ds.c. This started out in mysql probs - anyone help?.
