hi, im trying to run a windows program though wine and it keeps saying to me:

When you are running with a native NT directory specify
'Profile=<profiledirectory>' or disable loading or Windows
registry (LoadWindowsRegistryFiles=N)

i tried disabling the registry files but it just comes up with nothing now and the program still wont work. it starts to load but it just stops pretty much straight away, just after the initialising installshield wizard setup box, just like before i disabled the loading of the registry anyway.
i tried loading another program (the firefox setup.exe) and it worked fine before i loaded the registry and after...
should i setup the program in windows and then try to wine it again after it has been setup?

The error message means that you are trying to use a native NT installation (or W2K or XP) as the base to run your program. Did you copy over a WINDOWS or WINNT directory structire into ~/.wine/fake_windows? That is extremely problematic. You should not do that. Instead, copy only the needed native DLL's you wish to use.
Running any windows program with wine on a native NT installation (or W2K or XP) will most likely will fail.
You will probably need to recreate your .wine directory and copy only the native DLL's you need into ~/.wine/fake_windows.
