where does enlightenment put the file where it stores which applications to start on logon?

i think theres a session file in ~/.enightenment look for *session*
i cant find more about it rite now, sence im in school and theres just like windoze machines... :'(

(i hate school, you dont learn anything you already dont know anyway, and the slight litle bit you learn is somethin you could have figured out yourself)

i'm not using e16.5 anymore but i think the file is starts with ... try do ls -l ...*

look in .enlightenment it should create a sessions file in there but it is not recommended to edit on the fly.

I think you should really move away from enlightenment and use another window maker. Don't get me wrong, Enlightenment is good but it is currently out of date for a long while now (E17 is still being worked on).
