Does anyone know if an UltraSPARC II proc that has the dreaded ecache issue will run Gentoo (or Linux in general)? I am curious to know if Linux can gracefully handle these flawed processors with out kernel panics... unlike Solaris, where kernel panics and reboots occur. Thanks.
