I don't like doing less than 300 micrograms of lsd @ once ...... 500+ is still preferable.

I went through a phase (years ago now) where whenever I used to be thinking about something computer related and got stuck I would mutter "see colon backlash.... ummm" and that would usually kick start me into thinking again...

From my observations, a slowly, but steadily developing despise for mundane people is almost universal.

Yes, even numbers. e.g. the volume of the TV has to be at an even number at all times or I start shooting pedestrians... :)

Heh...I'm exactly the same. Changing the volume in the car it has to end up at an even number. My girlfriend feels the same and she isn't a geek. What's going on?

I stand no fixations, really. Well, probably practicing clean sex with ladies i meet in the internet. That was before 1 year ago but now i'm ejoying a loving relationship with my Muse Sandra and she kidnaps my attention constantantly. But i can't think of any other whim. Well, yes : breathing oxygen, is it valid ?

Wondering about some other peoples geeky personality disorders...
I have a similar problem, but it applies to prime numbers, powers of two, multiples of ten, and multiples of five. In that order.

i personally hate it when people are ignorant to different standards, (like how much data can fit on a cd) and act like they know all about it. I have a problem with correcting them. i hate to hear people talk about stuff they think they know about but actually have no idea.

Dunno why, but I seem to prefer random numbers and will go out of my way to get them. Lava lamps, radiation, microwaving cd's, whatever.

You can console yourself with the fact that, being the only even prime number, 2 is pretty odd ;)

When I'm thinking really fast to try to come up with something I tend to "air type"...

For some reason, the more I learned, the more I disliked being around people.

I can't use a computer that wasn't set up by a trusted IT staff. Like I can't go to my friends' houses and use their computers. I find myself spending more time running the windows updates, downloading virus scanners and disabling unnecessary running services. I can't do what I wanted to do because I'm fixing so much stuff.

I've just stopped bothering.

A lot of people have that. I seem to get it more than most, too. I also have the thing about prime numbers and powers of two. 12 is just a horrible number because it's right between 11 and 13 but isn't either.

I found out recentetly i can no longer write properly with a pen and paper.
Oh and you should convert all your volume knobs/gauges/LEDS/LCD's to Hex!!
and before someone says it, no not binary that would be silly!

I stopped listening to music because it has no usefull purpose. so for me the volume knob is a mute point...

powers off two yes thats important!
Prime who cares ?

i feel for you. i've stopped listening to mainstream music a long time ago, and basicly converted to NPR and also ambient trance it's nice and relaxing, and time seems to get sucked away listening to it. i figured it would be a perfect compliment to my time getting sucked away on my computer too.
