good evenin folks!
its me again :p
anyways, i got a lil problem with X that is really driving me nuts :/
all terminal based software, like Eterm, Xterm etc, cant seem to get a " to appear like a " for real.. the normal console can recognise the " as a " so there's no problem there, only when i open a x or eterm, i get this problem. all programms that run in this terminal, eg, VIM, take over this nasty habbit aswell.. i suspect its some codepage problem, but i haven't got a clue where i can find / change it in gentoo... i am running Fluxbox, KDE gives the same result...
can anybody help? this is a royal pain in the ass since the coding i do gets buggered up :/ |

any, it doesn't matter wich actually
now that you mention fonts.. its since i inserted the windows fonts into X...
could that be the problem?...
[edit]
i tryed unloading the fonts from X, by restarting X and removing the fontpath to the mscorefonts from the config
but no joy either, the problem still exists...
