Hello
I tried to install Gentoo on my Ultra 10.
It have a 4,4 gb hdd and 128Mb Ram.
I made an "universal boot cd"
When I power on the Sun, do Stop-A, then boot cdrom
SILO stars... then ask me to boot... I enter
gentoo-2.4
it seems to start until "loading linux..." then the screen became black, the cdrom runs for a while then it stops.
Why? How can I fix it?
I got a Compaq TFT7000 screen.
Thanks in advance! |

I solved it removing the PCI ATI Mach 64 display adapter.
Now I can finally use Gentoo on Sparc
But if I would have a dual head screen on my Ultra10 too? |
