Hey, I have 2.6.7-mm6 kernel w/ 2 sata drives (non-raided) that are detected when i boot as hde and hdg because i use ide-disk for those... it begins to load the kernel and it gets right to the part where it says Code: | RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0 | and just stops (system hasnt locked up, it just doesnt do anything afterwards!!)... so got any ideas? thnx... |

heh, sorry, i was rushing out the door when i typed that up, anyways i said hell with genkernel (which i normally never used to make kernels before) and made my own kernel with bare minimum stuff with no modules - el speedo demono as some would say it is now (besides the speed... its working 100% pure 64bit environment!) |
