Hi !
A newbie question...!
Can freetype 1.3 and 2 coexist on the same installation ? Each software use the one he need ? Ex.: Enlightenment 0.17 (CVS) use 1.3, if i install, he will broke my freetype ver. 2 ?

Yes, they occupy different "slots" so you can install both. To install freetype 1.3, do: | Code: | | # emerge =media-libs/freetype-1.3.1-r3 |
Alter this command if freetype 1.x gets updated. The qpkg command may be used to list available versions: | Code: | # qpkg -v media-libs/freetype
media-libs/freetype-2.1.2-r1 *
media-libs/freetype-1.3.1-r3
media-libs/freetype-2.0.9
media-libs/freetype-2.1.2-r1
media-libs/freetype-2.1.2
