apparently the writer of the liquid theme is back at it and she should be releasing an update this weekend or early next week.

She? I've always thought Daniel M Duley sounded like a male name. ;)

Mosfet has posted on www.kdelook.org that he is MALE and that the pictures on his website are of his girlfriend. Why in the world would he have pictures of himself in the screenshots of his work. He is male he has made that point countless times.

Mosfet has 9.6-pre1 out... requires kde 3.1beta2, and there are some confusing things about which version of qt you need at http://www.mosfet.org/liquid.html. I cant' get it to compile, has anyone else had any luck?

correction:

It requires at least KDE3.1b2 and QT3.1 of the KDE CVS.

oh man, the theme almost makes me want to install kde... it's beautiful man..... hehe if it wasn't for the kdebase bug that i'm too lazy to patch i would probably give it a whirl....

and here's an experimental ebuild for the new mosfet liquid

While the build depends on kde-5, Mosfet states that kde3.1b2 and QT of CVS should be enough - this WIL NOT WORK with qt3.0.5 which is in Portage - therefore I'll mail this to Dan Armak when I get kdenetwork-5 compiled.

This worked for me, might not for you - your loss, you break it, you get to keep both pieces.

Code:

inherit kde-base

need-kde 5
