changes and apparently messed it up.

i reverted the link in the first post to point to boroshans' ebuild.

I'm pretty sure it would be a good idea if this was marked testing, i.e. ~x86...

Anyways, source tarballs are curently downloading, Many Thanx, neenee!

Let me get this straight:

You have to download the ebuild from the love-sources thread, obviously after reading this, if not other love-sources threads as well: thus knowing it is experimental and not supported by Gentoo.

You have to make the portage overlay and directory, and then ebuild blah digest it, from your portage overlay, knowing it is not in portage because it is an external and so not tested (by Gentoo) patch set.

You then have to emerge it, after which a very large and explicit warning comes up saying it may well break your system.

And you want it to have a ~x86 keyword?

What difference would this make, to anyone ?

Please don't take this as an attack, it's not, but really....

I tend to agree

If you use love-sources you KNOW it is experimental :)

You also know it will break your system eventually

Hey guys, how about a quick poll: of the latest love-sources (2.6.6+), which has given you the least problems and best performance?

It seems like a lot of winning and losing streaks since the days of the older, slightly more reliable love-sources.

Which patches have been the most troublesome?

Should this be its own thread?

why not make it a thread about the performance of patches based
on mm, so that more people can contribute to the thread.
