I can't make grub boot SUSE from hdb. My BIOS can't determine size of hdb, but I have no problem using it once I have a system running.
I get this error msg.
root (hd1,0)
error 21: Selected disc does not exist
I use this menu.lst :
default 0
timeout 30
splashimage=(hd0,5)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz
title=Gentoo Linux
root (hd0,4)
kernel /boot/bzImage root=/dev/hda6
title=Debian
root (hd0,1)
kernel /boot/bzImage root=/dev/hda2
title=SUSE
root (hd1,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hdb1
# Below needed only for people who dual-boot
title=Windows NT Workstation
root (hd0,0)
