ADS = active directory server (some kind of windows 2000 ldap-thingie for those who doesn't know it).
Well, I am currently trying to figure out how to work on a windows2000 domain... Still busy with it, but I have seen in another Linux distro (XandrOS business edition to be specifc) that they show you a window where you can enter your ADS-username/password and that the authentication runs against the AD...
Now ofcourse I want to be able to use it on Gentoo :p.
Is there any way of achieving this? (and maybe someone knows how to 'fake' the windows2000 logon screen? :p Then my boss won't know I'm working on Linux :p) _________________ Drakenberg's Discovery:
