Very strange, I've emerged xfree 4.2.1 and then gimp-1.3.7 would segfault, I then emerged 1.3.9 but it still segfaults:

Stack trace:

I was thinking of re-emerging pango or glib, but I wondered if there are some more people with this problem (and a more simple solution)

i hate to sumit a ME-TOO post instead of a solution but in the case of the gimp segfaulting i have to.

I had gimp-1.3.9 working, even after i updated to xfree-4.2.1, but yesterday i tryied to upgrade to gimp-1.3.11 in the hope i could enter some japanse text and then BOOM...segfault. then trying 1.3.10, and 1.3.9 again....and no cigar.
now i had to settle with 1.2.3-r2
there are no bugs reported in bugs.gentoo.org about this issue.

here is my setup:
gento 1.2
gcc 2.95
xfree 4.2.1-r2 (or some r)
gtk 2.2.0 (recentrly emerged)
pango (latest ebuild)
windowmaker 0.82 (even tho the about dialog says 0.81...that's another story)

f*ck im afraid to emerge update pan and not be able to have my news!!!
