System: Athlon 1ghz, 768mb RAM, 8mb Diamond Speedstar Video, Adaptec 2940U2W + 36gb Scsi HD
Gentoo installed fine last nite, including the 'emerge sync' command.
After a reboot to verify functionality (all looks well), I typed in:
'emerge kde'
and went to bed.
Here is the compile error I saw when I woke up this morning:
xftint.h:392: pase error before '*' token
{more errors like this one}
!!! ebuild did not complete succesfully
!!! function kde_src_compile Line -6658 Exit Code 2
!!! died while running emake, kde_src_compile: make
Any ideas????????? |

System: PIII 666 Mhz, 256mb RAM, 8mb S3 Trio3D (S3 Virge (Generic)), ...
Gentoo installed from stage3-pentium3.tar.bz2 (not run emerge sync)
emerge x11-base/xfree succesfully
Xfree86 working properly.
emerge kde-base/kde : fails exactly with same error. |
