Hi Folks,
I've got gentoo installed along with lilo (grub didn't want to work with me dual booting win2k for some reason).
Now, I've got lilo working but whenever I try to boot gentoo it gets to the "init" section and where it tries to start a terminal (from what I can make of the error message) and then halts?
The exact error message is;

I'm trying to use gentoo 1.4rc1 just so you know..

I posted a reply to the above (or below) link on the missing
init. I used the rdev command to set the root device for the
kernel. Check it out, it might help.
