I know that the .kde directory are personal settings for an individual user but
I'm running emerge as root, it should have permission to enter data into that
directory. 58/86 completed. The disk has 5 gigs free.
Is there an explanation?

Simply ignore that message. When you will start KDE all files will be created. |
