LiveCD doesn't work on Ultra 10

I'm trying to install Gentoo with a live cd on my Ultra 10. If I use the sparc64 minimal iso I get an "Illegal Instruction" error after I type gentoo-2.4 and it goes back to the ok prompt.

I tried the regular sparc (32 bit I assume) iso. The error it gives is

Fast Data Access MMU miss
then ok prompt

I really can't do anything else if the LiveCD doesn't boot. Any other ideas? Is it worth trying out the universal isos? Maybe version 2004.0 instead of 2004.1? Thanks for any help.
