I have an onboard sound ess1969 SOLO-1 audiodrive (rev 1) does anyone know where i can find the driver and how to install it? _________________ New to Linux old hand at DOS/Win

i did a menuconfig and found the sound card setting available in the sound devices section. i enabled support for my onboard sound. do i now have to recompile the kernel to activate the sound?  _________________ New to Linux old hand at DOS/Win

Yes, recompile and copy the kernel image across to the /boot partition. Edit your bootloader .conf file if necessary. _________________ My blog

Of course, you can also compile it as a module and only recompile and reinstall the modules.  _________________ Music is the Answer |
