Hello,

Has anyone encountered this problem, or is it just me? I used the same .config as my 2.6.6 kernel and ide-scsi doesn't seem to work anymore. I can make my burner work with ATAPI, but I was just wondering if anyone is having the same problem. Thanks!!!

Michael

Sounds plausible to me, I've just noticed when I use ATAPI burning I use so much more RAM than when I use ide-scsi. For example, when I use scsi, RAM usage is about 120 MB RAM, but when I use ATAPI, RAM useage goes up to 350 MB usage. I don't know, this may be normal, just looks suspicious. Thanks for you response!!! Have a nice day!

rc2-love2 is just sweet... fails here without acpi. turning some acpi options on it compiles. :)
Edit: oups, turned SMT HyperThreading Scheduler on aswell... so acpi or SMT did the trick ;)

Did that kernel with new test installation - so no output.

libata fixed?!? -> no errors in kern.log or syslog :D

just sweeeeeeett here

Xorg doesn't like openbox ...sorry for offtopic but i had to say it now
