|
|
Hi guys (again )
Does any one know how we can re-emerge every
e-build for gtk2 use?
For example I have some stuff installed that uses "gtk1", and that's
let's say "strange" for example gaim and xcdroast.
I don't mind to recompile everything! But how can I do that?
Thanks (again ) _________________ The road to Perfection is too rocky ! Consider Linux as home delivery service. |

Recompiling most things will not change them from using gtk1 to using gtk2 - That's a change that the providers of the program have to make themselves.
There are two (maybe three) exceptions that I know of - gaim, mozilla, and galeon (galeon-cvs).
I've found gtk2 mozilla and gaim to be quite unstable, and I don't use galeon, so what it means is that the only gtk2 apps I have are the base gnome distribution, and a beta version of gnumeric which works just fine.
Other useful things like Evolution have unstable gtk2 versions available, but ebuilds don't exist for them so far as I know. |

I'll add gFTP to the exceptions list _________________ Ruben. |
