No sound with Hercules GTXP

Well, installed the CS46XX modules and and alsasound. I have unmuted the output and still there is no sound. Tried looking up alsamixer to see if something was low or on mute, nada.

Anyone with tips or ideas, that would be excellent.

Bump for a little help on the GTXP. Initially, my box had an SBLive! and I used the same instructions to get it working, but with the GTXP (and a clean install of Gentoo on a new box), the same isn't working.

Does your user is part of the group audio ???? or you can edit /etc/devfsd.conf and change the permission for dsp and mixer to 666 if you dont want to add the group.
