Hi,
When I reboot my Gentoo system, it turns off my hard drives (before turning them again a few seconds after). I have never had this problem with other distros, I was just wondering if that was dangerous for my drive or not?
If it's dangerous, how could I change that?

Same issue as iI have its kernel related the 2.6.7 series does not do it, but the 2.6.6 have some issue in SATA or IDE calls..thatswhy the power the hdd always off..equal reboot or halt _________________ [:: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 ]::[ Mainboard: ASUS P5B Deluxe ]::[ GPU: nVidia 7900GTO ::]
