edita o ficheiro /etc/X11/XF86Config
e na secção de Input que diz respeito ao rato acrescenta:

Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"


se nao me engano é isto pk tou a falar decor :?

exprimentei agr ligalo por ps2 mas mm assim o scroll continua sem funcionar :cry:

Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" adicionas esta opção, e no protocol metes "ImPS/2" tens é de ter o rato ligado por ps2 e n por usb

Certamente funciona pela USB. Eu não tenho experiência com periféricos USB no Linux, mas muito provavelmente funciona. O interessante é que aparentemente você manteve o mesmo link de /dev/mouse para os mouses conectados na PS/2 e na USB. Talvez seja esse o problema.

Você pode ver pra onde aponte o link /dev/mouse com um "ls -l /dev/mouse", se for pra /dev/psaux isso quer dizer que está configurado pra checar na porta PS/2. Não sei qual é o dispositivo de USB em /dev, mas você pode refazer o link com um "rm /dev/mouse && ln -s /dev/<porta usb> /dev/mouse". Depois, mantenha o 'ZAxisMapping "4 5"' e teste.

Eu tentaria, alguém deve ter experiência com mouses USB e pode te ajudar melhor. :wink:

mas com usb ainda nao conseguiste ?
nao tou para tar a por em ps2 ...
para jogar prefiro em usb e nao vou tar sempre a trocar...
