|

I'm using a Microsoft Internet Pro Keyboard. It's USB and has my mouse connected to it. The keyboard works during installation and in my BIOS and the mouse and keyboard run fine in X.
The only time (to my knowledge) that the keyboard doesn't work is at the GRUB select OS screen. Is there anyway to get it working? I'm dual booting XP and Gentoo now, and it is a real pain to have to drag my PS2 keyboard over each time. |

I had a similar problem when I first started using a USB keyboard. It wouldn't work until my Kernel saw it (actually, in my case, it wouldn't work in BIOS either). Check around your BIOS for USB keyboard options. There are sometimes options that will cause it to basically emulate a PS/2 keyboard until the OS takes control of it. _________________ "An empty head is not really empty; it is stuffed with rubbish.
