OK. Me again. I have breezed through a stage 3 install, this time with a network connection (my gosh, how much easier!) Now when I reboot the first time into linux 2.6.6, Silo hangs. I see the following. Code: | Allocated 8 Megs of memory yada yada
Loaded kernel version 2.6.6
Remapping kernel... done
Booting Linux... |
And that's where it hangs until I do a Stop-A. I'm going to take a whack at rechecking my silo.conf file, but does anyone else have any ideas?
Sparc Ultra 10
OBP 3.15
Silo 1.4.5
Linux 2.6.6
Stage 3 install without much variation from the Gentoo handbook
