I just emerged Apache 2.0.50, PHP 4.3.8, and mod_php. I'm sure that the modules are being picked up correctly, but phpinfo will not fire... I've done this successfully 3 or 4 times in the past, but for some reason, no soap!

Any help is appreciate...

There is a thread in here on it.. do a search... I got it working, you need to edit some stuff in commonapache2.conf and /etc/conf.d/apache2.conf

You shouldn't need to just to get php working. Try editing /etc/conf.d/apache2.

You don't need to do that either; Gentoo has it set up already. The only thing you need to do is uncomment the APACHE2_OPTS line, and add -D PHP4 to the end of it.
