Hello!

I'm new to Linux / Gentoo and want to access my harddrive on the IEEE1394-port of my SoundBlaster Audigy. Currently I have no idea where to start.
I've loaded ieee1394, ohci1394, sbp2 and raw1394-modules.
I've just read, that I have to enable SCSI support + Hotplug, is that true? If so, what options to enable.
I've got some MP3s on this drive on a FAT32-partition.
Will the drive appear in /dev/ieee1394 then?

Any answers appreciated.

Just managed it!
Enabled SCSI-support and modified the fstab and now everything works.
