I tried emerging Ximian-Openoffice 1.1.55 and this was the result:

Quote:

How can this bug be fixed? Ty in advance for your help :)

Try resyncing in a while and the missing file will probably be there. Otherwise submit a bug report, but don't rush it.

EDIT: Slow again...

The problem was solved this way:

I removed the openoffice-ximian related packages from /usr/portage/distfiles, then I emerged it again, downloaded the packages again, and now it emerged. :-)

A bit of a over kill, actually. :) The problem was that the package maintainer had forgot to commit the file. I hope you don't have any bandwith limits or non-flat rates.

Oddly enough, I removed all the files in /usr/portage/distfiles and it has been compiling for one hour now. Before it stopped after 30 minutes of compiling.

There is a newer ebuild for OpenOffice-Ximian-1.1.55-r1 in Portage now:

http://packages.gentoo.org/ebuilds/?openoffice-ximian-1.1.55-r1

Edit: Compiled failed with this ebuild too :?

well 1.1.55-r1 compiles fine for me - make sure you're using conservative CFLAGS. but my problem is it refuses to run...the executable just keeps crashing. i used the masked ooo-kde integration though so i'll reemerge tonight and see if removing kde integration fixes it.
fyi i used CLFAGS="-mcpu=athlon-xp -O2 -pipe"

I got 1.1.55 to work and I am fine with it.
