I was looking for the Sparc ISOs and I can't seem to find them on any of the mirrors. Is Sparc no longer supported?

The 1.1a directory was deleted. There are 1.2, 1.3a, 1.3b and 1.4 directories, none of which contain any sparc files.

The support of a port takes a lot of work to maintain. The sparc hardware is also expensive and uncommon. I hope Gentoo support for the sparc architecture continues strong, but if a bunch of developers dont have time to work on it this port will go away.

Don't have a writable CD, although if pressed I may be able to find one,

But don't have a CDROM Drive on the sparc.

Guess I'll just need to find a program to upack the ISO onto a harddrive and get the tarball out. (Yup, knew they are in the tarball, just didn't want to go through the xtra effort if I didn't have to)

I was able to found a mirror site that hasn't deleted the 1.1a directory..... http://filepile.tiscali.de/mirror/gentoo/releases/build/1.1a/

There are stage1, stage2 and stage3 tarballs here.

EDIT: The stage1 tarball is also located at http://www.gentoo.org/~jmorgan/
