I grabbed the packages cd for sparc32/2004.1, checked the md5 sum (aok), and burned the CD; much to my chagrin I cannot get the xfree package off the cd, either from my SPARCstation 5 (yeah right, I'm sure I'd compile xfree on that), my Ultra2, or the Athlon that burned the CD. In all cases, it dies half way through or so and gives me an I/O error.
In lieu of fixing the cd image, I'd accept someone just sending me a link to the sparc32 xfree-4.3.0-r5.tbz2 file. |

Sounds like you have a bad burn. You can read it fine if you -oloop things, right?
Also, remember that certain sparcs don't like reading off CD-RWs or CD-Rs burned at over 4x. |
