Then, while running Fluxbox, I emerged mozilla-firefox and it froze near the end, so I had to hard shut-off the laptop, and since then I haven't been able to get my card to work. Any ideas? I've tried setting the ESSID with iwconfig, I've emerged wireless-config from Uberlord. I'm out of ideas. |
The card works OK though? No errors through dmesg, you can iwconfig and ifconfig don't report any errors?
Try the following - replace eth0 with your wireless interface
Code: |
iwconfig eth0 mode ad-hoc
ifconfig eth0 up
iwlist eth0 scan
