hello,
how do i save the current volume in gnome so that the next time i reboot my computer it "remembers" the last volume state... this is working with kde, but gnome always starts mute.

ive put this line in .bash_profile, but still doesnt work... how do i make my system execute this command before it loads gnome(or wmaker)?

i think there is an aumix service in /etc/init.d, just add it to your default run level
