ck-sources and lufs?

hi,

did anyone manage to get lufs working with ck-sources?

i have ck-sources-2.6.4-r2,

i tried to emerge lufs,
but it complained that the kernel is not writeable whatever.

so i used kernel-config, and set it up to output the kernel files into a different folder than /usr/src/linux.

i tried to emerge lufs again, it failed again with the same error.

so i made the kernel writeable with kernel-config.
then lufs got emerged, but the emerged files are only the documentation files, that means the files in /usr/share/doc... nothing else (

should the kernel be patched for lufs?

so maybe the problem is that i'm using ck-sources?
