I've tried to compile metacity 2.4.1 because 2.4 keeps all the gnome panels on top, but the ebuild bails out with:

I using gentoo 1.2 and gnome 2.0.2
Anyone has an idea how to fix this or if this is just a metacity bug?
Search came up with nothing |

That's odd. I just emerged it and it compiled, installed and is running fine. CFLAGS are -march=athlon-xp -O2 -pipe, using GCC 3.2
