Have had this working eariler today, yet for some reason won't work now.
Using a ISA USRobotics Data/Fax/Voice modem that is suppose to be created on /dev/ttyS1 (or at least when it works it is created on this line)
I have ISA PNP enabled (built in) and see that my kernel recognizes it when doing dmesg.
I've been playing around with "vgetty" and besides that nothing else.
vgetty configuration calls for putting:
Code: | s2:23:/usr/sbin/vgetty ttyS1 |
in my my /etc/inittab, but now I get a:
[code] vgetty FATAL: yS1 cannot get terminal line dev=ttyS1 [code]
as a result of ttyS1 not being created.
Anyways, I am lost for what I should do next. To recap:
1. ISA Modem has worked, ISA PNP is built in and have been using vgetty. _________________ ~------~
