Has Gentoo switched to xorg-x11, or will the isos include only xfree 4.3?
I know I can emerge whatever I want, I'm just curious. |

I think xfree 4.3, xorg-x11 is still marked as testing. |

Considering the beta version of the Desktop Configuration section of the Gentoo Handbook specifically covers X.org, I'd assume that the release in which that section is included will replace the Xfree packages with X.org packages.

Both? Gentoo is all about choice, I would think they would slap both of them on there. Not that it matters, GRP is for LUSERS! _________________ "You've got to listen to me. But in all seriousness, my last machine was a PII 300. I did a GRP install on that. |
