Any idea what's wrong? I'm trying to boot my freshly installed Gentoo 1.4 system up and it's telling me /proc doesn't exist... What steps can I go about doing to get it to exist? |

Do you have
Code: |
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
|
in "/etc/fstab" ? |

Yea, and when I do ls -a on / proc isn't there... meaning it's missing all together. Worse comes to worse I'll just reinstall... but I've already emerged flux, galeon and gaim. |

Reinstallation should not be necessary. Try: Code: | # mkdir /proc
# mount /proc |
