i have 4363 build.......currently i am using an XFree86 config i borrowed over from my Redhat......now i think i had to make changes in it to make graphic games like ut 2 work.......i am thinking of emerging the latest nvidia-kernel which is 5336 ........would i need to emerge nvidia-glx also?? also what would be the best xfree86 config??? the chipset is nforce2 _________________ Pdict - dockable dictionary client for linux

It's a good idea to keep the version of nvidia-glx in sync with nvidia-kernel. Failure to do this might cause problems.
Your XF86Config file should 'load "glx" and reference the 'nvidia' driver. There's lots of examples of this in these forums. |
