As of version 0.5.5 of reiser4progs apparently you need to add the "rw" modifier to your fstab on the root partition in order to be able to boot, otherwise it freezes at mounting /proc. If anyone knows a better way, msg me. Thx. |
I haven't had any problems booting with 0.5.5 - no tweaks in use here that I'm aware of  |

You can format a partition (made with fdisk) by using the following commands:
| Code: | | mkfs.reiser4 /dev/hdXX |
Such that hdXX is actually hda1 or hdb3 or whatever partition you want to format.

i was reading a lot earlier in this thread that wireless may become a part of this cd, if thats the case, a cd with the madwifi-driver would be awesome, im not sure what other wireless drivers are out there or tools for them but my linksys a/g pcmcia card only works with madwifi.
BTW this livecd rocks |
