When following the Documentation and typing:

# mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/gentoo/boot

I get the following message:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda1,
or too many mounted file systems

Can anybody tell what's going wrong, i've tried it several times.
Reboot and created new partitions using fdisk.
Fdisk is setup like this:
/dev/hda1, boot flag, fs: Linux, 1000Mb
/dev/hda2, swap, fs: swap, 512Mb
/dev/hda3, root, fs: Linux, 2500Mb
/dev/hda4, fs: Win95 FAT32, 40Gb

I gues there must be somebody out there with the same probs, during the install of 1.4 RC1....

Do you have a filesystem in hda1 (like ext2, ext3, reiserfs....)? try to manually specify it in mount (-t option).
