I've got Unreal Tournament installed and when I go into UT preferences, the Video driver is set at SDL OpenGL ... I try pressing the change button to switch to my ATI drivers but it doesnt work.
I did opengl-update ATI and then glxinfo:
Code: | name of display: :0.0
display: :0 screen: 0
direct rendering: Yes
server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.2
server glx extensions:
GLX_EXT_visual_info, GLX_EXT_visual_rating, GLX_EXT_import_context
client glx vendor string: ATI
client glx version string: 1.3

but still UT is using SDL drivers and I think America's Army is too because the framerates are like 3.
I've got a VIA chipset with an ATI Radeon 9600 pro with 8x AGP support (as well as my epox mobo) and the 2.6.4-rc1 kernel.
Anyone know how to set the ATI drivers up to fix this problem? |

That's normal. I really don't see where the problem is, except that's the ati drivers are a bit crap. That's why you have low fps. |
