Sto cercando di fare il boot con Grub, Gentoo 2004.0, fino ad adesso nemmeno un errore in tutti l'installazione. Non appena do l'invio per bootare, mi arriva sto errore:
Error 15 : File not found
Che devo fare???

Posta il tuo grub.conf. L'errore 15 e' quando non trova un file nella tua partizione di boot (probabilmente hai messo (hd0,x)/boot/nome_file al posto di (hd0,x)/nome_file).

adesso però l'errore è diverso (ho corretto un trattino che mancava):
Error 1 : Filename must be either an absolute pathname or blocklist |

Oppure in grub.conf metti (hd0,0)/boot/kernel-2.6.3. A me è capitato su alcune macchine che senza specificare sia (hdx,y) che il path completo del kernel desse problemi.

Controlla anche che il tuo kernel supporti il file system delle partizioni boot e root.... la prima volta mi ero dimenticato di integrare il supporto per il reiserFS e non partiva nulla!
