hallo ich hab gestern versucht nen 2.6.4 kernel zu kompilieren da ich gentoo eh neu drauf machen wollte :) hab nich viel erfahrung damit aber bei 2.4.22 -2.4.24 hats eigentlich recht gut geklappt^^ auch ohne genkernel.
so und nun zu meinem problem ich bekomm jedesmal massig fehler egal ob kernel mit genkernel config oder meiner eigenen erzeugt wurde :( und es sind bei kernel 2.6.4 die selben wie bei 2.4.25. ich post gerade mal die fehler^^ also das atkbd.c kam 18mal in ähnlicher ausführung :(

wäre sehr dankbar wenn mir jemand sagen könnt was ich da für mist gebaut hat :) wobei genkernel ja den selben mist gebaut hat^^ thx schonmal :)

PS: habs auf 2 sytsem getesten kamen die selben fehler :( "mal so geschwind" ;)

wer generiert schon seinen kernel mit genkernel... spass bei seite!
entweder wie o.g. devfs nicht aktiviert oder das dementsprechende FS, also etx2 oder 3 oder reiser usw....

dir fehlt das verzeichnis /sys

ich will nicht herzlos klingen, aber sowas steht imho in der anleitung.

o_O genkernel hat soviel angekreuzelt der kernel muss mindestens 1GB groß sein ;) löl^^ ne is alles rein kompiliert ^^ habs so wie immer gemacht , gentoo installation so wie immer nun nun auf einmal sowas :( die filesystems sind auch drin die ich brauche o_O naya versuch ichs eben mal mit dem sys verzeichniss wenns an dem liegen sollte gut :)
thx :) hm wenns net klappt habt ihr mich ja ganz schnell wieder am hals ;p

hm hab den ordner erstellt hab ihn in fstab eingetragen , :( immer noch die selben fehler :( und das obwohl ich nun nen 2.4.24 er kernel wieder genommen hab :( was mach ich nur falsch ??

hi ^^ nun gehts . wollt ich nru kurz sagen , 99% der fehler siund verschwunden als ich keine module mehr hatte sondern alles in kernel einbetoniert hatte :) den letzen bekam ich dann durch nen schreibfehler in fstab und erstellen des ordners /sys weg^^. kann es sein das der kernel n problem mit modulen hat? oder wieso geht das system mit den gleichen sachen als modul nicht? vielen dank für die hilfe :)

Ich hatte das gleiche Problem und bei, und ich hab es mit dem Befehl
ldconfig gelöst. Musst aber von der CD her booten und die boothd mounten
