| ich habe mit gentoo 1.2 gestartet, da habe ich irgendwie die cpuflag 686 her, drin ist aber ein 1G athlon. wo muß ich meiner box sagen, das die cpu ein athlon ist? rentiert sich das überhaupt, alles,was jetzt so schön läuft, neu zu compilieren? zeit ist weniger das problem, aber ist die arbeit an und für sich wert? wird die ganze sache dadurch schneller, stabiler? |

| Aber ein -march=athlon-tbird wuerde ich fuer den upgrade auf 1.4/ggc32 trotzdem empfehlen. Schaden kann es auf keinen Fall und theoretisch wird die Kiste einfach performanter, inwiefern Du das dann merkst darfst Du gerne an dieser Stelle posten. |
