|
|
My machine is Sun Ultra 10 workstation.
While I compiling the kernel 2.4.24 manually, the compile error message displayed:
Code: | dnsdomainname: Host name lookup failure
qlogicpti.o(.rodata+0x0): multiple definition of `mbox_param'
qlogicfc.o(.rodata+0x0): first defined here
ld: Warning: size of symbol `mbox_param' changed from 114 in qlogicfc.o to 67 in qlogicpti.o
make[3]: *** [scsidrv.o] Error 1
make[2]: *** [first_rule] Error 2
make[1]: *** [_subdir_scsi] Error 2
make: *** [_dir_drivers] Error 2

How to eliminate this error? |

You might get more help from the Sparc forum.
Moved from Installing Gentoo. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

Why do you have both qlogic drivers enabled? Ultra 10s can't take sbus cards... Having said that, it's fixed in more recent kernels if you really want to do silly things (or if you're on an Exxxx with PCI and SBUS boards). |
