I have a Maestro3 sound card on a laptop that was PREVIOUSLY working but now for some reason whenever I boot up linux during startup it says "modprobe: cannot initialize maestro3". I did everything in the desktop guide again but it doesn't work. I don't know why it started doing this but I really wanna get my sound back. Thanks to anyone who can help. I didn't do anything that I can think of that could mess up the card, all I did was the normal web browsing and that's about it. |

Did you rebuild the kernel by any chance? _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

Last I heard, alsa-driver needed to be emerged after every kernel build. Might see if that helps. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
