My only hard drives are attached to an older SCSI controller requiring the aic7xxx driver. The 2004.0 livecd only has the aic79xx driver. Is there any place I can get a livecd with this driver? Alternatively, is it possible to install in 64-bit mode from the regular x86 livecd? |

Hello,
I run into the same problem and opened a bug report #44069
On a second HD I had already running another distribution and I installed from there.
(since these are SATA disks, during the first install I connected a old SCSI disk to the Adaptec, and build a Kernel with SATA drivers on that disk
