First of all, I'd like to say thanks for such great documentation. I've been leery in the past about installing Gentoo, as I'm not a Linux expert by any means, but have used it for the last few years.
I just completed a Gentoo 2004.0 installation on my AMD64 (after fixing some typos in grub.conf - oops!).
Following the Desktop docs, I emerged XFree, installed the Nvidia drivers, and went to emerge gnome.
Emerging Gnome installed Mozilla-1.6. Epiphany would fail with an error message saying it needs to be installed against Mozilla-1.5 or older.
After learning some new stuff about Portage (Unmerging, Emerging an older version), I emerged Mozilla 1.5, then emerged Gnome, and everything is working wonderfully.
Is this something I should file in bugzilla, or did I just miss this in the documentation?
Thanks!

This doesn't sound like a bug to me. Just sounds like Epiphany hasn't been updated since the newest verision of mozilla came out. You may be able to get away with emerge -U mozilla now that you've installed Epiphany. |

From a post by robnotts
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64" emerge =ephiphany-1.0.7
will work apparently, though I have yet to try it myself. |
