How come when I people show screenshots, they often mention aterm/eterm which is 'docked' on their desktop? Is this just the same as setting konsole to have no menu/tabs/borders? Or am I missing some features I dont know about for aterm/eterm?

O btw, does anyone know what program is on the desktop here that shows system information?

Thanks

Pretty much.. aterm/Eterm are basically a harder to configure konsole, without tabs, and not integrated to the desktop. e.g, only worth it if you aren't running KDE.
